If charging is concentrated during peak hours, it will increase the grid load by 2 million kilowatts. Equivalent to the electricity load of more than 300,000 households. If load regulation and off-peak power consumption measures are taken, the security of the power grid will be guaranteed, and the electricity demand of people’s livelihood will be better guaranteed.
According to reports, staggering and avoiding peak charging and reducing the charging power will appropriately extend the charging time. One charge will be extended by up to 5 to 6 minutes. The State Grid will give a certain discount on the charging service fee. According to statistics, the number of electric vehicles in the country has exceeded 10 million, and each vehicle is equivalent to a small mobile energy storage power station. The scope plays the role of the “power sponge” of electric vehicles, stabilizes the operation of the power grid, and ensures the safe supply of electricity.
