A few days ago, Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. announced that at the ninth meeting of the third board of directors held on August 12, the meeting reviewed and approved the “Proposal on the Investment and Construction of the Hungarian Times New Energy Battery Industry Base Project”. The company plans to invest in the construction of the Hungarian Times New Energy Battery Industrial Base Project, with a total investment of no more than 7.34 billion euros.
It is understood that the Hungarian Times New Energy Battery Industry Base Project is located in the southern economic development zone of Debrecen, Hungary. It will build a 100GWh power battery system production line. The construction period is expected to be no more than 64 months. The planned land area of the project is about 2.21 million square meters. No more than 7.34 billion euros (the total investment in the final project is subject to the actual investment), of which the first plant will start construction in 2022 after obtaining relevant approvals.
